Offer competitive pay, bonuses, and benefits packages Exposure to one of the largest refineries in North America, and valuable hands-on experience with complex industrial systems. Great people to work with.

As a large enterprise, decisions may be more company-focused than employee-driven, which can create uncertainty during restructuring or business changes.

It’s an okay company overall, typically what you would expect from a corporation. Good pay, nice people, somewhat okay career advancement opportunities, relatively smaller size makes it easy to know everyone and be connected with leadership. Very little layoffs over the past decade.
Cons
The Saudi ownership means that it’s difficult for many things to get approved through the governance process - even the CEO doesn’t have much spending authority. Historically had a lot of re-orgs which makes things unstable.

The people and employee culture are the best parts of Motiva. Most people are willing to help each other reach the overall goal of the company.
Cons
Lots of re-organizations occur causing some people to end up in roles they are generally not qualified for.
