Pros

Free food and open pantry for snacks

Cons

-Not a lot of competent and EXPERIENCED leaders you can tell they don’t know what they’re doing or saying most of the time -Didn’t have a care plan for good talent or employee retention or managementuu -salary is not worth it for the metric you’re required to comply, at the end of the day the leaders will make you feel you’re just numbers -downplays your position and salary by saying you’re not actually doing the whole scope of the work but just a part of it (but at the same time it was posted in the job description for most job sites???) a bit disappointing because their job posting is a bit misleading compared to the actual work you’re asked to do -company values don’t really reflect actual work culture -benefits just hitting the bare minimum hmo, salary increases not so much present -HR

Pros

- Great office! makes you want to come in every day and work alongside your team. - Awesome customers that truly love the brand. Selling doesn't feel like selling; it feels like information sharing.

Cons

Salaries could be higher, but take a hit to help build something great

Pros

Cool office, free lunch, hybrid working from home.

Cons

They’ve just gone through massive layoffs. Now the place is seriously understaffed and still paying below-market salaries. The extra workload keeps getting pushed onto the engineers, while PMs and other business roles don’t seem to be impacted. While there are some good engineers, there are heaps of incompetent engineers in the mix.

Poor leadership and unsafe culture

Pros

The provided daily lunch is a great benefit

Cons

Compensation: Salary packages are generally below market standards for the required level of expertise. Organizational Maturity: Leadership is often overly top-down, with limited opportunities for constructive peer feedback or challenging the status quo. Lack of Stability: Constant shifts in priorities and opaque headcount management have created an environment with very little psychological safety.

Thanks for your feedback. It's great that you feel so positive about the business, the culture and the opportunities. We are in the final stages of our annual compensation review, so I hope that on the other side of that you'll feel better rewarded. Your manager should also be able to provide you with feedback on what they are expecting from you in order to receive further increases or promotions. If that clarity isn't there for you, have a chat with your ELT representative to let them know. It's really important to us that everyone understands how to maximise their own growth potential. Failing all of that, I'm always available for a chat - wherever in the world you are. :) Anna Chief People Officer

Pros

Free lunch, WFH policy, many talented engineers - although many have left.

Cons

Decisions are highly top-down with zero transparency or clear long-term direction. Senior leadership can be dishonest and even lie to their own reports about the company's priorities and restructuring plans, even when they already have the full visibility of what's happening. Priorities change constantly, restructures become frequent, and morale has dropped significantly across the org. Many talented people either left or were laid off (both publicly and quietly behind the scenes). Compensation and salary reviews have also fallen behind the market in recent years. The employee shares are meaningless. They can’t realistically be turned into cash and the company has publicly stated they don't have any IPO plan.
