Pros

The product being developed makes a difference to schools and children. The people I work directly with care and we have built a community that cares about our wellbeing and support each other

Cons

group leadership and senior leadership feel disconnected from reality, with the business wanting to work in a waterfall way with delivery roadmaps not matching how teams are actually working and delivering work.

Pros

Secure work in nice surroundings

Cons

Been here about a year and feel like they work you hard with little reward. And the people at the top aren't the nicest and its a toxic environment. Dislike Lewis massively

Relocating Key Roles to India

Pros

Nice people to work with who believe in the products and genuinely want to do a good job.

Cons

Hindered by senior management who keep adding bureaucracy and taking away key people who are supporting our customers and our teams, relocating jobs to India en mass. The last I heard our financials were looking good, so not sure why all the redundancies.

Pros

Global Collaboration: ParentPay brings together amazing people from the UK and India. Collaborating with talented teams across borders makes work exciting and insightful. Pune Office is Fun and Vibrant: The Pune office is a fantastic place to work, with a great atmosphere that balances professionalism and fun. The camaraderie among colleagues makes every day enjoyable. Exceptional HR and Leadership: The HR team is one of the best I’ve worked with—approachable, supportive, and always on top of things especially HR Head Shweta Murthy and Gopichand Borkar. My manager deserves special praise for their guidance, leadership, and ability to bring out the best in the team. Work Culture and Growth: As a product-based company, ParentPay provides exposure to challenging projects and cutting-edge technologies, enabling steady professional growth. Work-Life Balance: Flexible policies and a supportive environment ensure a healthy work-life balance.

Cons

None significant—it's a place where you can thrive if you’re passionate about your work.

Pros

Fantastic team energy and a genuinely positive workplace vibe. People here are kind, approachable, and supportive — especially cross-department teams. The company really invests in keeping employees engaged: quarterly celebrations, offsite outings, and fun monthly events that make you feel connected. Work-life balance is healthy, and most managers are really people-centric.

Cons

HR processes have become noticeably rigid recently, and it’s affecting everyday comfort. There’s a growing sense that concerns aren’t being heard, plus some policies seem to be enforced unevenly across teams. The rest of the company feels warm and people-first, but HR feels disconnected from that.
