Pros

The product being developed makes a difference to schools and children. The people I work directly with care and we have built a community that cares about our wellbeing and support each other

Cons

group leadership and senior leadership feel disconnected from reality, with the business wanting to work in a waterfall way with delivery roadmaps not matching how teams are actually working and delivering work.

In my experience the senior most person in Pune ofc conduct has been highly unprofessional and unethical. The Organization operates on one person,one policy approach where rules change depending on personal relationship. This highest authority is highly shrewd and manipulative exercising excessive control over employees. There are serious ethical red flags around invoices which appears to be influenced by personal benefits rather than legitimate business processes.This leadership style has created toxic, unfair and demoralising work culture

Decision-making is slow and overly hierarchical, affecting productivity. Projects are frequently delayed due to poor planning and unrealistic timelines.”

Pros

The people, 100% the best thing about the place... the commaradary and togetherness and bond you build by all being down trodden on repeatedly by people that really do not know anything

Cons

Senior Leadership is grossly incompetent... claim the business is agile but on the other hand are removing any agility amongst the teams and just issue demands and remits that make no sense whatsoever and just ignores the question of why and never explained the decisions being made. Clearly outsourcing everything to Pune and treating the UK staff like idiots by saying this isn't the case Closing UK offices but obtaining new offices in Pune to bolster staff hires and roles that are being relocated to Pune

It has been a great learning curve in parent pay where I have got the opportunity to explore my strengths have always got support from the top leadership . India head has created an environment were we feel valued heard and respected. along with that an opportunity to work on great tech stacks

HR team adds no value makes it toxic to work by playing dirty politics which was never in the organisation

ParentPay is a fantastic company to work for, combining innovation in education technology with a supportive and collaborative workplace culture. The leadership team genuinely cares about employees, and there’s a clear focus on both professional growth and work-life balance

Cons

The recent changes in HR head - SV and LA have unfortunately made the employee experience worse. Instead of improving processes, the new HR leadership has created confusion and frustration across the company.
