Verisign reviews about "benefit"

We have been remote for over 5 years and was ensured we would stay that way after getting raves from leadership for being productive and exceeding goals. That changed after a new CFO came in and is now starting the RTO process. Assuming it’s a RIF in disguise.

They are making us RTO 2 days a week for the sake of "productivity" or "collaboration" (or whatever they're calling it) if we live near Reston. People who were hired during covid that are remote don't have to RTO or come in on any schedule. They're completely exempt. The executives are not doing anything to make it up to the people who have to comply with this..... it's just a huge slap in the face to anyone local. I don't know if anyone from the leadership team reads these, but they should take notice how the last three reviews for this company are now 1 star in light of RTO. No one wants this and there is no need for this - why are we being punished?

- They are doing a 2day RTO - You’ll work on code written decades ago without any support - no tools whatsoever - Bad management - You’ll work on so many unrelated things that your head will spin

Leadership, hard to move quickly, strategy, diversity

Verisign has been a great fit for me and I don't really have any cons.

Lack of innovation, lots of politics

- difficult to get promoted

- large hierarchy - internal politics are a big thing
