Pros

People were nice at first. Central location if that counts?

Cons

Deeply rooted micromanaging culture set by our dear CEO, everyone in the leadership team is only a puppet. Q&A session during Monthly All Hands Meeting is a joke, CEO will only really answer to questions that will make him or the company look good, while downplaying and dismissing questions that will bring out the hard truths. Non-existent benefits and welfare but asks for employees' loyalty, dismissals are common because the roles suddenly become "redundant" (essentially no more budget as funding is running thin). Extended new joiners' probation period just so that they can squeeze them dry during this period as newbies will put in more hours to ensure they get confirmed, only to lay them off as their confirmation date approaches to reduce the notice pay.

People-Focussed, but no without it's flaws

Pros

Great people-centered organisation that cares about its staff. The company has grown big the last couple of years but is generally quite flat, so it doesn't necessarily feel hierarchical.

Cons

Benefits can be better—they are currently limited to just a flexi credit. Sales move fast, but operations struggle to keep up, so work can pile up if people are away. However, there's always support. Company is very spread out, so hard to feel like one united company.

Pros

Supportive and approachable team members who are always willing to help and guide. Great learning environment, especially for new hires. Management recognizes and appreciates employees who perform well - I was even regularized earlier than expected, which shows how the company values hard work and contributions. The compensation and benefits package is also competitive. Overall, a positive work culture with good opportunities for growth and development.

Cons

Workload can be challenging at times, especially during peak periods, but most of the time it is manageable with proper time management and team support. I still feel that the work-life balance is generally good overall.
