Pros

If you have never encountered office politics before and want to see what it looks like and how it poisons everything, you can take a look here.

Cons

The pay was ridiculously low. The workload was brutal. Employees were expected to either handle or avoid terrible office politics and look the other way. The leadership didn’t realize how it had poisoned the work culture and made people hostile. Don’t join if you can’t play mind games.

Awesome gig if you like autonomy

Pros

If you thrive with having autonomy, RC is a great place to work. You are expected to do your work and there are opportunities to share your opinions and make a difference. The company is on the smaller side (compared to the industry), but it’s mighty. Awesome advertisers, improving technology, improving reputation, best set of pubs yet. More & more advertisers signing up and finding success as company continues to evolve & grow as a private entity. Management expects you to do your job & trusts you to do so remotely. If you are willing to put in the work, this company is a gem to work at. In my 10 year career, this was my favorite company to work at. Unlimited PTO, full trust, opportunities for growth, and awesome group of people to work with.

Cons

If you don’t do well with autonomy and a fast-paced environment, this company may not be for you. It’s not a place to just collect a paycheck.

Cons

It's hard here for people who can't adapt quickly to changes.

Pros

A coworker once stepped in to shield me from a rude manager, only to be dismissed the very next day. That alone says everything and it is both sad and disturbing.

Cons

Working here would be a massive mistake. Stay away while you still can. The people in charge are openly rude and show no respect, treating employees as if they do not matter. The initial kindness is nothing but an act, quickly replaced by dishonesty and manipulation used to take advantage of people. Seriously, stay away immediately.

Pros

Flexibility to decide how to reach the goals set by management. Great teamwork and supervisor I can count on - never leaves me hanging when I hit a roadblock. Fairly compensated for my work and results, plus I’ve built up my skills faster here than anywhere else.

Cons

Some late nights to be expected when the workload jumps

Pros

There’s a good mix of creativity and analytics, and assignments come with clear goals. The compensation and benefits are competitive. Having a responsive leadership makes it easier to keep projects on track. The team is great -- people share insights and work together to improve campaign performance.

Cons

Deadlines can tighten without much notice, so you need to be quick on your feet.

Pros

There were a few good people, and compensation was decent.

Cons

- What seemed like a promising job quickly turned into a nightmare once the truth surfaced. - Training gave a false sense of professionalism, but everything fell apart the moment real work began. - Favoritism was out in the open. - Discrimination was real, and it was allowed to continue unchecked. - Management was unfair, dismissive, and contributed directly to a toxic, damaging environment. - The stress was nonstop, anxiety hit hard, and the entire experience dragged me into depression.

Pros

Friendly coworkers were the only positive part of this job and the only reason the days felt tolerable.

Cons

- Senior leadership shows no interest in knowing employees as people or professionals - Communication is nearly nonexistent, leaving staff confused and unsupported - Layoffs happen suddenly and without a valid explanation - Family members and close friends are clearly prioritized over everyone else - Promotions feel impossible unless you are personally connected to leadership - Hard work and performance are ignored in favor of relationships - Favoritism destroys morale and creates resentment across teams - The work environment feels deeply unfair and discouraging

Revcontent Response

While we understand that perspectives and experiences vary, we do want to clarify one point for those reading and considering RevContent. Under our current leadership, we do not employ family members or individuals with personal relationships to leadership. Our hiring and advancement practices are structured around performance, accountability, and contribution, nothing else. We’re always open to constructive feedback that helps us build a stronger culture. That said, the claims in this review do not reflect the reality of how our organization operates.

Pros

I talk to engineers and product folks who know their stuff. When I have a question about how something works, they explain without making me feel dumb. The leadership is open about company goals and where we're headed. My supervisor trusts me to run my network my own way. The work is challenging but the people make it worth it.

Cons

It’s more than sales you have to understand the product thoroughly
