Hard without Danish language skills to grow

-extremely disorganised within the US HQ -catty and dramatic work culture- especially on the east coast (NY stores specifically) -unpleasant and unhelpful upper management -no proper HR for the US and everyone in the office are all biased because of such -difficult to grow within the company -extremely low pay in comparison to the rest of the contemporary retail market -despite consistently showcasing their efforts in sustainability and responsibility they neglect their retail employees -lots of people get fired and/or walk out due to how terrible the drama is -immense pressure to make goals

Bicester village customers are rude. company expectations are so high and you are never valued by higher up. company as a whole felt very mean girls at times. worst retail job I've had. company culture is horrible

Products are often not high quality which is dissapointing for a 'sustainable' brand.

Extremely toxic work culture, everyone hates working here, the store teams are over worked, not respected by the corporate teams (who are also overworked but generally useless and often make store teams lives hellish by being bad at their jobs). Everything is a mess, no HR team, confusing policies, and incredibly low pay. It’s so frustrating to see how they portray this brand on social media and know that it’s all smoke and mirrors.

- Extremely toxic store culture created by the store manager. - Manager exhibited severe mood swings, especially when store performance dropped, resulting in a constant atmosphere of pressure, panic, and blame. - Overly emotional and narcissistic behaviour from manager — everything became personal if performance was down. - Used manipulation tactics to divide team members, creating conflict and mistrust instead of collaboration. - Routinely forced staff to follow unethical practices to inflate store KPIs rates - violating company policy and harming individual KPIs. - Frequently micromanaged and shouted instructions across the shop floor, often clapping and demanding rushed action even with just one customer in store. - Zero emotional safety. Team members walked on eggshells daily, unsure which version of the manager they’d get. - Concerns were ignored or dismissed — feedback culture was performative at best.
