Pros

Good people, good facilities. They like grooming people from the bottom up. You do right by the residents and they'll never stop loving you.

Cons

They like to pump out the programming. When staffing is down, they still expect the same amount of programming and it's just not realistic. You have to fight for decent pay.

Flexibility to work remotely, ease of access to people/information you need

Cons

PTO amount is very small. Layoffs happen frequently without warning

Flexible but unhappy job

Pros

The company and my boss decently flexible with me and my schedule which I appreciated, If I got sick he'd get coverage for my shifts. Being able to create relationships with and talk to the senior residents was a wonderful part of the job.

Cons

The coworkers, which were my managers and fellow Dining Servers, were almost all the most unpleasant people to work with. The majority of them, especially the ones that had been there awhile, would constantly berate me on how I was doing my job and when and why I was doing what I was doing. They never seemed extremely picky with their hires at my location because almost every one of the servers were horrible people to deal with.

Rewarding feeling of helping people. Great team and coworkers

Cons

Hard work, taking care of 20 people or more all at once. Sometimes work long long hours and lots of overtime. Not enough pay for the jobs you are doing
