Pros

Not many..... reasonable money if you can take the constant sniping from the management.

Cons

Where to begin .... the management in The Falkirk Office are extremely unprofessional, back stabbing and set unrealistic targets for the staff. If you hand your notice in they take the huff, they expect the engineers to do whatever they say because it’s all in a ‘normal days work’. They speak to customers and staff in a disgusting manner and are aggressive. Prepare to witness many confrontations and don’t expect to have a life.

Pros

Pros are the very little remaining true Best employees left, they are leaving fast... true story of a company purchasing a Star and ruining it.

Cons

Lack of leadership, commitment, trust, and integrity. Run if you can! As a senior manager of a company they purchased and drove to failure in the America’s, the SMT is a lost group of individuals that pride themselves on making lowered level teams report out but never take action. They are too busy meeting and making no decisions, no strategy, and seeing constant YOY losses in an industry that has seen very good growth. Lack of leadership and direction has done nothing but burn T&E expense for no benefit. Poor contribution margin, poor sales growth, poor “new Indy Headquarters growth, poor ethical decisions and treatment of employees both past and present. As a previous executive leader, I am disgusted. Best of luck dormakaba America’s, don’t change, as a competitor now, you are perfect!

Thank you for your comment. In keeping with our commitment to attract and retain the best possible talent, we welcome any and all feedback as an opportunity to continuously improve. It’s a very exciting time at dormakaba. Over the past 3-4 years the company has made significant investments to grow our position in the America’s with acquisitions of the Mechanical Security businesses from Stanley Black & Decker as well as the Mesker Openings Group. Our performance in the America’s was further validated with the recent purchase of Alvarado Manufacturing Co. Inc, a leading North American manufacturer of physical access solutions, which closed just last week. This kind of growth creates a very exciting, dynamic and evolving environment. Although we regret losing any of our valued employees, we recognize not everyone thrives in this type of situation. If you’d like to learn more about our highly profitable performance and explore opportunities to become part of our growth and transformation, we welcome you to visit us at https://www.dormakaba.com/en, or please contact me directly at feedback.us@dormakaba.com, Michael R. Kincaid, Chief Operating Officer.
