High turnover due to toxic and controlling environment
Pros
Good health insurance and benefits package. Colleagues are generally supportive and pleasant to work with, which helps create a positive atmosphere. Being part of a large, international company in the security and access industry provides stability and the chance to work on meaningful projects. The company also promotes values such as diversity and inclusion.
Cons
I do not recommend joining the Procurement team until there is a positive change in management. The current manager’s micromanaging style has created a challenging work environment. During her tenure, at least 7-8 capable team members have left, including two who experienced burnout and emotional distress, as well as two team leads. The manager’s approach, which confuses authority with micromanagement, has led to a lack of support and leadership. The result is a team that is demoralized and unstable. Until this managerial change occurs, the environment will remain toxic and unsupportive.
