Since the current Procurement Manager took office, eight people have left due to inflexible office policies, value conflicts, or medical leave. Yet no action has been taken by upper management against this manager.

A lot of change seams like big disconnect from office folks and people

Highly Hierarchical Structure - slow decision making and a lot of red tape. Poor Leadership - Local senior leaders lack direction and capabilities for their level. They have started to bring more senior leaders into the business, which has been an improvement. Lack of Accountability - There is a significant reluctance to hold managers accountable for poor behaviour and underperformance.

Products need to improve to keep up with competition. Higher level positions are typically hired from outside, limiting growth potential of current employees.

Extremely caddy, very much clique mentality, not allowed to interact with people of other departments.

Lots of change (merger and acquisitions)

Different people, different locations, different teams. There are always problems here and there, and I can't say that every team or manager is as well chosen as mine. However, I can say for sure that Dormakaba has high standards when it comes to the hiring process, and everything possible is done to employ good, qualified people who share our company culture.
