Coverage area was ridiculous! There were days that I would drive 4 hours to a job. Pay scale was bias. Some of the guys that had been doing this for 20 years were getting less then I was with only 2 years experience. Only way to get a raise was to threaten to leave, or actually leave and come back. The manager was a micromanager like no other. The on call rotation was terrible also! Once a month you were on call 24 hours a day for 7 days straight, and if you got a call in the middle of the night it was only time and a half pay. Plus you still had to wake up and take care of your regular calls for the day.
