Each division is run as it's own profit center. While company policies are the same from division to division the autonomy afforded to upper management can and does get abused. If you're a sales leader watch your six your hard earned commissions can be stolen if that deal hasn't closed in 30 days of an "at will" termination. It's an old game in the new home biz. Managers count their bonus first and walk on sales people to get there.

There's a clear hierarchy and people at a lower pay grade are clearly treated inferior. Salary increases are not related to performance. A 3% increase doesn't meet the actual cost of living increase in my area.

Management plays favorites. It doesn’t matter how hard you work, you will need to work harder. They will actively try to cut your pay by switching your community, adding more people to your community, or changing prices.

You will not hear from upper management and will not understand the health of the company.

Definitely some micromanagement, but that’s to be expected with any sales role. Pay structure changes it felt like every year, but still well compensated for the work we did

Culture varies widely from Division. This particular Division has terrible culture. Everyone out for themselves. DP is huge tyrant, doesn't care about people. His claim to fame is how many people he has fired in his career.

Work life balance could be better
