Arup Interview Questions

The first-round interview is usually conducted over the phone or video call with a recruiter or hiring manager. This interview is designed to assess the candidate's motivation, communication skills, and fit for the role. The recruiter may ask questions about the candidate's education, previous work experience, technical skills, and career aspirations.

I applied online, after I waited for about 2 days, I got an interview with HR. It was straightforward, but I wasn’t qualified because of the international student visa, where I need sponsorship.

It was smooth. I did get an internship offer from them after passing all the stages of the interview process on Monday, however, it was taken back on Thursday on the sole basis of my F1 visa status. Although I required no sponsorship for interning with them, they did not care much about it and thought about their company's benefits. So, if you are a student on an F1 visa, do not apply here. They make no exceptions. You will be treated unfairly.

It was casual, pleasant. Interview was over video and communication wasn’t great leading up to and following from the interview. But the interview itself was conversational and simple. Though, I didn’t get the job so maybe I over simplified it…

Technical Interviews: Following the initial phone screening, the applicant will be invited to one or more interviews, which may be conducted virtually or in-person. The interviews are usually conducted by a panel of two or more senior engineers, project managers, or team leads, who will ask technical questions to assess the applicant's skills and experience. Behavioral Interviews: In addition to technical interviews, Arup also conducts behavioral interviews to evaluate the applicant's communication skills, problem-solving ability, and other soft skills. The behavioral interview may be conducted by HR or senior managers. Assessment Tests: Depending on the position, Arup may also require applicants to complete skills assessments, personality tests, or other evaluations to determine their suitability for the role.

The interview process was easy. The assessment centre has different sections and are time based. So we need not worry about giving the wrong answer, but they assess our thinking process.

Straightforward interview process. Initial screening call followed by interview with hiring manager, bid management related task and follow up interview. I didn't think the interviewer was someone that I would have liked to work for.

Just wants to learn more about you and your motivation in joining the team, as well as how you address challenges. Although case study task was quiet difficult due to time pressure.

It is a written interview process followed by a face to face interview. The written interview assess your basic knowledge of the position that you are applying to while the face-to-face interview is more like a case study
