Half being shown through the office, half discussing my skill set and if it would be a good fit. Felt very equal, and like we both really wanted to make sure that it was a good fit. Went through folio but by in-person stage it was more about culture and rapport.
It was a pretty straightforward two-way interview with one director and one senior engineer. The whole process is 1 hour. Last 10 minutes for Q&A. Interviewers are both friendly and chill.
Interview process was very streamlined, self recorded behavioral questions, chat with senior team members to learn more about ARUP, overall process took 2 months and took place remotely through virtual calls.
The interview felt chill and casual, with a relaxed atmosphere, friendly conversation, and open discussion, making it comfortable to share experiences, ask questions, and connect naturally without pressure or formality.
