Does Glassdoor offer parental leave?

Pros

Lots of opportunity to work on the broader business if you are interested Room to move across the business Remote first company Benefits: unlimited PTO that is encouraged, 100% paid medical (self), 6 month maternity leave and 3 month paternity leave, 5k 401k match, stock options

Does Glassdoor offer a wellness program?

Pros

- Culture is like nothing I've experienced before. Co-workers truly assume good intentions, I haven't encountered any snarky or pretentious people. If you make a mistake nobody belittles you for it. - The mission is really important. Hiring seems broken everywhere, and Glassdoor is genuinely trying to fix it. -Benefits are quite good, with great health insurance family plans and wellness options like Classpass - Work life balance actually means something. I generally start and end my day at reasonable times and rarely need to work beyond that. Unlimited PTO and ability to actually use it is also great -Transparent leadership

Cons

- Many of Glassdoor's products do not work very well. Job matches in particular have been wonky for a long time and frustrating to use, especially compared to LinkedIn. - Strategic direction could be more clear - Smaller company so fewer lateral growth opportunities, although you can definitely get promoted

Advice to Management

We should obsess over higher standards in our own product offerings so we can become the leading place for job seekers. Other than that, keep our culture special!

Benefits are quite good, with great health insurance family plans and wellness options like Classpass

Employee Story
"Back in January, I couldn’t bring myself to post about my one-year anniversary at Glassdoor. The news of so many layoffs crippled me with fear. I didn’t want to celebrate out loud while others grieved the loss of financial stability, self-esteem, career progression, etc. I also feared being ‘next,’ if I’m being completely honest. While those fears still exist, I’ve chosen to celebrate out loud today. Within my first year at Glassdoor, I’ve made President’s Club. Transitioning to industries came with significant imposter syndrome for me. Thus, I spent a lot of time asking questions, learning the mechanics, doing customer research, and creating preliminary scripts for myself to ease my nerves; all behaviors that I believe made me eligible for this award."- Chantia Olusoga, Enterprise Customer Success Manager Congratulations to you, Chantia!
