Pros

- Employees who joined before 2025 still got to enjoy full-time working from home, but for those who live within 1.5 hrs transit of any offices they are required to return at least twice a month. - Employee insurance is comprehensive and easily claimed. - Colleagues and team leads are mostly nice and helpful. - Position wise it helps you to gain knowledge on AI, use of GPT, different countries’ companies systems, which are very useful no matter which business or IT fields you are going in in the future. - Everyone use Mac! That’s much better than Windows. - Diverse and inclusive. Got to work with colleagues from Asia, Europe, and all over North America.

Cons

- Discretionary time off is a scam. The company promoted unlimited time off but whenever you need to apply for more than 20 days of paid leave, the HR will use every means to hinder e.g. delayed approval, or give pressures to your team leads to explain . But 20 days standalone is more than industry average. - For research associate there’s a demerit point system for every works you do, and it is purely punitive. Recently they even introduced a snitching system for colleagues to actively send email to others’ team leads to talk about what you have done wrong in each case, no matter how small or big is the mistake. - Salary is super low, compared to the workload coming along. And even though you have maintained outstanding work quality throughout the year and finally got a promotion to senior / manager, the salary adjustment would always be within 5%. Promotion head count is also very limited. And for those who don’t get promoted, expect only $100 rise per year. - Always not given enough time to work, expect frequent overtime working. The company requires OT work to be pre-approved such that you can receive OT pay, which means, any OT works resulted from urgent requests or delays from others that you cannot anticipate won’t get paid. - Now there is no more full time remote position. All hybrid staff are required to return to office twice a week.

Pros

You get to work remotely

Cons

Sometimes going to the office is mandadory and managers will tell you what is appropriate to ask the visiting managers.

Thank you for sharing your feedback and for the time you spent with our company. We’re glad that the flexibility of our hybrid work model was a positive aspect of your experience. Regarding the comment about interactions with visiting leadership, we would like to clarify that guidance was provided to ensure appropriate use of communication channels. During leadership visits, discussions are expected to focus on strategic, operational, and team-level topics. With respect to the comments about management experience, it is true that several of our managers are early in their leadership careers and, in some cases, managing teams for the first time. This is a deliberate approach focused on developing internal talent, with appropriate guidance and oversight.

Pros

Competitive Pay Good Benefits Remote Work

Cons

The majority of your day is spent doing mind numbing tasks which could be automated. Lack of challenging work with no real transferable skills being taught. Lack of guidance on what is expected of you. Documentation is all over the place and you are expected to sift through many different sources when they could easily centralize and organize this data. My manager was toxic, skipping my 1-1 calls, constantly passive aggressive. Maybe this could be a good first job for someone that has little to no real IT background. If you expect any sort of challenge you will quickly get bored here.

Thank you for your feedback and for highlighting Exiger’s competitive pay, strong benefits, and remote flexibility. We’re sorry parts of your experience didn’t meet expectations, particularly around management and role structure. It’s important to note that during our mid-year review process, all professionals have the opportunity to provide direct feedback on their managers’ performance and we take that input seriously to strengthen leadership and team support. We’re also investing in improved onboarding, clearer documentation, and automation to reduce repetitive tasks. For candidates, this means joining a company that values feedback, is committed to improvement, and continues to invest in both people and processes.

Pros

Probably flexible working hours (remote)

Cons

Extremely toxic working environment and poor management. You will be welcomed with flowers and immediately be thrown into tasks without minimum training or introduction to the code base. Surrounded by yellow crocodile smiles, and pressured to finish tasks with unrealistic deadlines, you will immediately feel the unease and discomfort. Extremely fast-paced working dynamics in which you’re expected to deliver high quality work in a very very short amount of time, to be eventually responsible for code quality issues that has nothing to do with anything but over-commitment and serious architectural and design issues in the code. Competition among team members is so sick and come against the company “ideals” of “we should not compete with each other”. You will start noticing people ignoring & disrespecting you for no reason, people who say things behind your back but not to your face, and are willing at any moment to throw you under the bus. Managers are not fair and the company seems to have the trend of bringing in really weird cowards. People from the out-of-norm humanity spectrum and put them in positions of responsibility under a bloated job titles to make them feel important. If you came from a decent social and academic environment, you will be questioning your self worth and value being among those zero-personality sociopaths. This company might be good solution if you are jobless, USE IT TEMPORARILY UNTIL YOU FINDA NEW JOB, and then immediately RUN! At the end of the day, you would want to be managed by true mangers, not a stupid scrum masters.

Pros

Benefits are wonderful. The people you come across are very smart, hard working, dedicated and helpful. Great programs to keep you healthy. The company has wonderful views and their products are wonderful.

Cons

So sad how your boss and their peers don’t care about you. They are more focused on their salary and getting paid the big bucks while you just get tossed to the side as trash. There is no integrity and honesty from a few leaders. They will never own up to a mistake. It’s all about their benefit. If you make a mistake - and if your manager hates you, be prepared to be treated terrible and for your replacement to start being planned ahead while you still are working hard without you having a clue that your end time is coming. I think this only happened with my position as it was not a top level. Betrayed is what you will get and you will never be given kudos for your hard work. Instead of helping me grow- my manager didn’t care about my growth and didn’t feel the need to expose me to new challenges and see me succeed. It’s so sad to see that people in the company can treat someone who doesn’t have as high position as an inferior. This review is only for what i experienced with my manager and a few of his team members.

Pros

The team dynamics within my department were positive, and my individual manager was dedicated to supporting us. He managed to balance the workload effectively and provided mentorship along the way. Additionally, our clients were great to work with, offering positive feedback and opportunities for impactful production.

Cons

Communication with other teams within the company was often challenging; it could take days to get a response via Slack or email, even when colleagues were not on vacation. After being laid off (not due to performance), I was never given a clear reason for my departure. Later, when I learned of a similar role opening up, a former coworker encouraged me to reapply. I provided my information and was given two weeks, but I wasn’t offered an interview or any clear feedback. Instead, I received a brief email stating I wasn’t selected for the position, despite having worked there for a year. My attempts to follow up with the talent acquisition team went unanswered, which left me feeling undervalued as a past employee.

Pros

Used to be remote, but sadly now they force employees to come to the office, even those who are not from Bucharest.

Cons

Toxic manager and HR at the Bucharest office, you have to deal with both micro management, and with a manager that likes to laugh at the overworked employees in the monthly meetings. High work volumes and overtime for a small salary.
