Pros

Probably flexible working hours (remote)

Cons

Extremely toxic working environment and poor management. You will be welcomed with flowers and immediately be thrown into tasks without minimum training or introduction to the code base. Surrounded by yellow crocodile smiles, and pressured to finish tasks with unrealistic deadlines, you will immediately feel the unease and discomfort. Extremely fast-paced working dynamics in which you’re expected to deliver high quality work in a very very short amount of time, to be eventually responsible for code quality issues that has nothing to do with anything but over-commitment and serious architectural and design issues in the code. Competition among team members is so sick and come against the company “ideals” of “we should not compete with each other”. You will start noticing people ignoring & disrespecting you for no reason, people who say things behind your back but not to your face, and are willing at any moment to throw you under the bus. Managers are not fair and the company seems to have the trend of bringing in really weird cowards. People from the out-of-norm humanity spectrum and put them in positions of responsibility under a bloated job titles to make them feel important. If you came from a decent social and academic environment, you will be questioning your self worth and value being among those zero-personality sociopaths. This company might be good solution if you are jobless, USE IT TEMPORARILY UNTIL YOU FINDA NEW JOB, and then immediately RUN! At the end of the day, you would want to be managed by true mangers, not a stupid scrum masters.

Pros

- The people who you work with are genuinely kind, intelligent, and resourceful. - Sometimes the work is interesting. - Unlimited Discretionary Time Off (i.e. your manager has to approve it).

Cons

- Career development is nonexistent unless you came in as a VP. - RTO mandate. - The pay is not competitive, and will remain below par regardless of your performance. Expect annual raises below the rate of inflation. - The difference between what higher-ups assume our products and data sources can do often does not line up with reality. - The company donated the salaries of ~4 people to Trump's birthday party and then laid off a significant portion of the workforce. - Constant emails from HR welcoming new VP-level hires while everyone else who actually works has to fill in the gaps caused by the layoffs and sees nothing in return. - You will be pestered to vote for the CEO in every meaningless popularity contest that comes up, consigning you to a lifetime of spam email.

Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective. With over three years at Exiger, your feedback matters. We’re glad you’ve had a positive experience with your colleagues, building strong, capable teams is something we value. That said, many of the claims in your review, particularly around compensation decisions, layoffs, and external activities, are either inaccurate or lack important context. We take transparency seriously and do not make decisions that compromise our values or our people. We recognize that periods of change can create frustration, especially around workload, communication, and career progression. These are areas we are actively working to improve, including clearer development paths, more consistent communication, and continued evaluation of compensation practices. We welcome candid feedback, but it’s important that it remains constructive and grounded in fact. We encourage employees to raise concerns directly so they can be addressed in a meaningful and productive way.
