Pros
Pay, benefits & perks are still OK. Unlimited PTO works for many. Mostly decent and kind colleagues although there are many bad apples you'll encounter just like in any large organization. Good brand name (or used to be) and decent opportunities to work with big name customers.
Cons
1) Constant layoffs - it doesn't matter what level or where you sit in the organization, the company conducts one big round at the end of every fiscal year (around January) and a few smaller rounds throughout the year. 2) Return to Office - most folks living within 30 miles of an office are forced to return 3-5 days a week. It doesn't matter if your team members are located elsewhere in the world and you don't have any customers visiting. This can add 2-3 hours to one's daily commute to the office often times to meet with no one. 3) Dated Equipment - laptops are on a 5 year refresh! Absolutely ridiculous when many of the apps needed for work can't run on older laptops or cause it to overheat. 4) Toxic middle management - I have witnessed several instances where management fabricated/reached for reasons to give out low performance ratings / PIP just to hit a threshold. Very unethical!
