Long hours, very little recognition

Late hours and Physically challenging job

- Splitting shifts to give an hour break meant they didn't have to pay breaks - Long hours and often short-staffed (but that is normal with bar work I suppose)

low pay, no perks, late nights, not enough staff on shift

Long hours and on feet all day

As a supervisor you only recieve pennies an hour more than the bartenders and then are expected to work almost as much as managers who are making far far more than you. You could work in the company for many years and not recieve one single benefit

There are none I can think of

Ops run the place badly and all its talk about is numbers. Lack of training. Bad site conditions for the level of sales. A lot of furniture moving and late closings with lack of staff. Staff burn out. No reviews, feedback or incentives for management. Lack of HR and support. Lack of work life balance. Hours well over contract with no extra pay. Staff turnover extremely high.
