• Assist in site supervision works to build a quality and environmentally friendly campus for learning and working;

• Provide support in contract administration and management, as well as site management, to ensure the completion of works in accordance with the schedule and in compliance with contractual requirements;

• Prepare and maintain proper control of document filing, drawings, and site work records;

• Assist in supervising contractors to ensure compliance with statutory requirements, particularly safety, and University house rules;

• Carry out site inspections, record site activities, monitor progress, and check findings against specifications and drawings;

• Assist in conducting regular audits on work performance of Resident Site Staff (RSS) team and prepare report on the findings;

• Report and issue notifications on defects and deviations, and ensure proper rectification;

• Provide input on good construction practices and suggest alternative proposals as appropriate.

• Coordinate and attend meetings with government authorities, consultants, contractors, users, and in- house units;

• Assist in maintaining drawing records and checking Operations & Maintenance (O&M) manuals for conformity with the as-built work;

• Handle complaints from end users and internal stakeholders; and

• Perform any other duties as assigned.

• A Bachelor’s degree/Higher Diploma/Certificate in Building Services/Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering, or related disciplines, with a valid safety training course certificate (commonly known as "Green Card");

• At least 3 years of post-qualification on-site experience as a Building Services Inspector, Project Coordinator, or Construction Manager;

• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese;

• Self-motivated and performance-driven, with the ability to complete tasks and assignments independently; and

• Chartered qualification in related disciplines, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD are preferred.
