The pay was quite good, but as I understand it, this is no longer the case. They bumped up the base and completely gutted the bonus. You used to get 6-7 months bonus with cash and stock, but now it's down to just 2 months if you are lucky.
Cons
Management at HKEX is horrendous. No one takes responsibility and just push work around. None of the senior managers seem to be able to retain any information and keep asking the same silly questions week after week. Work environment itself is toxic, as the more senior you are the less likely you will be to do any actual work. The entire sales team exists to just drink themselves into oblivion everyday and leave at 4 pm.

Gd ppl in the company
Cons
Different teams hv conflicts lol
- Current Employee, more than 3 years★★★★★
Pros
Financial Stable of the Company
Cons
Since Charles Li left HKEX, the company became more bureaucratic. They hired more westerners at the end of top management. HR is the most politics and hire the wrong ppl to head the wrong jobs. The numbers of MD is more than junior positions in this made the Org. chart became a shape of an upside down triangle. Not healthy.

Pros
Can have work-life balance. Workload is reasonable
Cons
Salary is not competitive compared to industry
Continue reading - Former Employee, more than 8 years★★★★★
Pros
Good salary and good working location.
Cons
The company is very polical. You have like your senior. Once any one of the senior don't like you. They will do whatever to force you to leave.
