About the Role
As a Director of Marketing Communications, you will be driving the overall marketing communications strategy for Shangri-La’s Hong Kong Hotels, ensuring impactful brand presence and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive Marketing Communications master plan aligned with revenue objectives and budget strategies for all Hong Kong Hotels.
Ensure all marketing initiatives reinforce the brand identity and positioning across B2B and B2C markets.
Plan, execute, and optimize marketing and PR campaigns for Hotel offers, seasonal promotions, partnership activations, loyalty programs and hosted events.
Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activities, and local market dynamics; share insights and recommendations with Management to inform business decisions.
Liaise with internal teams, external agencies and vendors to ensure seamless execution of marketing programs and events.
Partner with Operations and Sales Team to evaluate campaign effectiveness and take proactive measures to achieve business goals.
Inspire, mentor, and develop a high-performing Marketing Communications Team, fostering professional growth and delivering impactful results.
About You
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or other relevant disciplines.
At least 10 years of solid experience in Marketing Communications and PR agency, with minimum 4 years in supervisory level, preferably in Hotels with similar capacities.
Strong expertise in managing local and regional media relations.
Proven track record in handling multiple projects across diverse industries and delivering initiatives for various brands and target markets.
Experience in digital marketing would be an advantage.
Proficient in computer applications.
Strong ability to influence strategic decisions and effectively engage with senior leadership.
Excellent leadership, time-management, multi-tasking, organizational, communicational, interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated and result-oriented team player.
Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
Candidates with less experience would be considered as Senior Marketing Manager.
