The incumbent will support the development and execution of community engagement initiatives to foster a vibrant, harmonious community and strengthen partnerships with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and implementation of community relations strategies and initiatives
• Plan, coordinate, and deliver community programs, events, and outreach activities
• Maintain effective and proactive communication channels with key stakeholders such as NGOs, the government, and the community to facilitate collaboration and information sharing
• Draft and prepare publicity materials, newsletters, videos and reports to update and engage internal and external stakeholders
• Handle and manage public inquiries and complaints, ensuring timely and professional resolution
• Monitor and analyse community feedback related to issues and crisis management to inform community relations strategies
• Conduct research and prepare briefing materials for management for meetings with the government, political stakeholders, and community representatives
• Ensure smooth cross-team communication to facilitate timely information sharing and alignment on community relations priorities
• Provide administrative support to the department as required

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related disciplines
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in community relations, event management and administrative support
• Strong communication, good interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently
• High proficiency in PC operation with Chinese processing and MS Office;
• Fluency in spoken and written Chinese and English, Mandarin is an advantage
Occasionally required to work after office hours, as well as on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays

Working Location: Discovery Bay
Free transportation to Discovery Bay will be provided. In fact, it only takes 25 minutes ride for ferry from Central or 10-15 minutes ride for bus from Sunny Bay MTR.
