Great hiring process! The process was the best and most human I have been through and I really liked getting to know every Salesforce employee every step of the process. You see that the hiring managers care more about knowing you and your motivation rather than putting you through a challenging process. You do need to do a lot of research about the company as they will ask you a lot of very company specific questions.
- Process started with a screening call from then recruiters (mostly to see if you'd fit the company and to know more about your motivation, make sure you know the job description, the values and what salesforce do, but they usually won't go too much into details)
- Next step is a 30-45 min a virtual interview with a hiring manager (could be your future manager), he/she will ask you questions about why tech, your journey, why salesforce, why sales, ...) Make sure to spend enough time reading all resources, knowing the values and how you match those, watch videos, start some modules on trailhead, the resources to learn about salesforce and the company are endless so make sure you make use of them! A day or two after the interview the recruiter got back to me with an invitation for the assessment center.
- Final step was an assessment center, for me it took place virtually due to the COVID situation, you'll be asked to prepare a case (you have a week to do so) and present online with your slide deck to a panel. On top of this I had another virtual interview, very similar to the virtual interview I had before, but more base on my motivations and finding if it's a mutual match, it felt more like a discussion rather than an interview which I think was really nice. The recruiter came back to me a few days later with an offer.
Very quick, thorough and human process, you can see from the entire recruitment process that they care a lot about their employees and the entire process made me fall more and more in love with the company.
