I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Salesforce (Dallas, TX) in Feb 2014
Interview
The interview process was very well organized and thorough. At all stages I clearly understood what the next steps were and the recruiter did a fantastic job keeping me up to speed. From the initial screening with the recruiter, to the final in person sales demo with leadership, I knew exactly what was expected of me and was provided the guidance to ensure I had my best foot forward. Character and culture is super important and was discussed at length.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How would I contribute to the company culture and what value would I bring to the team.
Recruiter missed multiple interviews only to tell me they have no positions only.
6 months later I receive an interview invite with pay $20k lower than originally discussed
Manager arrives late to the interview then cuts the time early. Company seems disorganized and difficult to take seriously as a so called leader in SaaS.

Describe a deal won
Apply via Workday, initial recruiter screening via phone call, 1:1 manager interview and introduction, then panel presentation with role play. You'll need to build and present a deck in the final stages.

Question 1
Walk me through a deal example and how you won the opportunity.
pretty easy interview. Had to do a case. It felt like it was just a formality and they put me up to it to fit into their standard processes. Not the best experience but it is what it is
