Pros

The product is by for superior to its competitors. If you’re looking for a web hosting that provides you features to succeed, WP Engine can provide that service. It’s specific to Anish of clients where selling is very specific and there is no limit to how many people you can work with. Although a very difficult job, with the correct training, success is not unattainable.

Cons

Poor leadership from the mid to upper management levels. This company is an example that the best sales representatives do not make the best managers. Seems like they are trying to duplicate the way they sell however that strategy doesn’t work with the current market along with every sales rep. Coders are way high and although bonuses are nice, they are rarely hit.

We appreciate you sharing your experience and sharing your insight from your time at WP Engine so far. While we're glad to hear you have so much confidence in our product and the opportunities here, we're concerned about your experience with mid to upper management. If you haven't already done so, we'd greatly encourage you to reach out to your Employee Experience Business Partner, Manager, or Sales Leader so that we can learn more and work to address these concerns. We sincerely appreciate your feedback and hope we can learn more and work to address these concerns.

Pros

The culture here is seriously solid. Everyone’s competitive in a good way — we push each other, celebrate wins, share what’s working, and have a blast while doing it. No big egos or weird politics, just a group of people who want to win and see each other win. There’s real opportunity to move up if you put in the work. I’ve seen people go from new reps to team leads and beyond because they stayed consistent and brought the right attitude. It’s a great place to build your career and be part of a team that actually gives a damn.

Cons

It can be fast-paced and there’s definitely pressure to hit goals — but that’s sales. If you’re disciplined and organized, you’ll be just fine.

Pros

Good benefit packages and work accommodations.

Cons

Recent changes in the sales org structure including processes, quotas, commission structure, upper management shake ups, and very difficult sales targets have made this job almost insufferable (unless you're lucky enough to be on the very small Enterprise team). There has been a mass exit of great talent in both leadership and individual contributors. Morale is hitting a low point as well. That coupled with the below market pay (i'm sure their response will be otherwise, but it's the truth), and next to no upward mobility, it's no wonder the turnover in their sales org continues to accelerate.

Thank you for sharing your continued feedback, we're quite concerned your experience seemingly hasn't improved since your prior review earlier this month. If you haven't already, we would really encourage you to reach out to your Employee Experience Business Partner or someone in Sales Leadership to discuss your concerns in more detail, as this is not the employee experience we want anybody at WP Engine to have. We hope to hear from you so we can work to address these concerns.
