Cons
No canteen! So, many people take 30-60 min breaks to run to the shop. Managers get a fantastic bonus, employees get pay rises far below the inflation rate. Bullying and racism is promoted, and happens in all the departments. Too bad if you're a foreigner! (I recommend you stay away. Just read other reviews from the Eastern European colleagues) Clogged up toilets! Thank God we got the portaloos last year! (No joke) Sectarianism (like some other workplaces) dictates your wage and career path! After the Sensata integration of Schrader, you can forget about bonus or a decent pay rise (average <2%). Nobody seems to know what they're doing, but as long as you could pretend you're working, you're safe. PropertyPal and UsedCarsNI are the most visited websites. So imagine how productive most people are. Did I mention racism? 10+ court cases each year, and of course HR backs up the racist gangs, as they have deep-grown ties. Thankfully, more than 90% of the cases are lost by Sensata in the courtroom. Very high turnover of the qualified and senior engineers. The approach is: if you could find something better, then go ahead. To no surprise, multiple projects get cancelled due to lack of resource.
