Training opportunites, nice people, big emphasis on DE&I from the corporate side. Good atmosphere on the whole. Lots of support from wellbeing teams. Some excellent managers who are committed to seeing you succeed and progress within the civil service.
Cons
Salaries are in the middle to high range for the civil service, but still, it's the civil service and salaries just aren't what they used to be.

Very diverse - many different areas to work in Offices in different countries - opportunities to work there/visit If working in the Private Office, regular dealings with senior officials and politicians
