High governance environment limits flexibility and agility, but this is to be expected Near term, prospects for career progression have been very limited in digital space, but I think this is a symptom of current circumstances

Flexible working between 7am and 7pm, with the option to apply for alternative working patterns too. Good culture of support for personal development and career progression accross the organisation.
Cons
Significantly lower pay than private sector counterpart posts. Having to follow Civil Service code which means no obvious political affiliations or expression of political opinions.
