      Moog is a great company to work for.

      Management protect each other,single out individuals grind you down and don’t really care.if the upper management knew what was going on there would be hell to pay.

      Fantastic company to work for!

      Pros

      I started about 3 months ago and love it here! Upper management really cares about the employees and it shows. I've been provided all the tools I need to succeed and be an integral employee here at Moog. The work life balance is great and the company really values people having a life outside of work unlike most companies today that will do anything to increase profits, even if it means burning out their hardest working employees. The campus is great and well maintained. The cafeteria on site has amazing food at great prices! The hybrid work schedule is a huge plus too!

      Terrible Management, middle and upper management is a complete joke huge disconnect between office workers and production workers.

      Work-life balance touted as important - but it's not

      Pros

      Supportive of time off for family related issues. Will allow some flexibility as long as work is done. Decent benefits compared to other organizations.

      Cons

      Despite saying that work life balance is important, they continue to pile work on the same high performing individuals. They'll say have a nice weekend knowing that to get everything done you will have to work the weekend as well. Upper management really seems oblivious to the amount of work it takes to keep the business running and/or do not care as long as it keeps getting done. This is one reason that the organization will not grow as quickly as it could. Furthermore, there is a real lack of clarity in the organization - ambiguity of what is to be done, by whom, and when. Off the cuff organizational changes with no real analysis of how it will work for the business. Lack of flow down of business objectives to the employees - they are not told the truth - leads to mediocre employees if they think they are always doing "awesome". Middle management left out to dry while HR / upper management takes the employee's side on everything.

      Pros

      Strong business position where there is more work than what the current infrastructure can handle. Working with operators with decades of experience who really care about their work and the product. Benefits and end of year plant shut down. Great place to work if you have strong boundaries and prioritize job security and benefits.

      Cons

      Out of touch and dismissive upper management. Very aggressive goals set and instead of providing resources and removing obstacles, they create additional barriers to make the work even harder to accomplish.
