Management Toxic co workers Immature environment

Not much opportunity for growth. The top management is pretty much set and depending on your department you’d need to become an expert with very little to no training.

Job is boring but busy. Planning department could all be remote but doesn't due to current corporate speak

Extreme travel with extensive overtime, 25+ weeks this year, 60-80h weeks. They take advantage of straight salary positions and rarely reward the extra hours, maybe a comp'd day here or there. Do not expect straight pay after 40 or the opportunity to shift to an hourly structure. Upper end is currently slashing benefits. Profit sharing is permanently terminated for NA, and health insurance has gone up across the board with wellness incentives impacting less and less each year. Raises are low and slow, if at all. Divisions are segmented and echo chamber-y, they regularly have issues collaborating and fixing systemic issues. Travelling engineers/quality/labor/service are spread thin, so expect travel often and expect to be shorthanded.

Slow to advance tech levels

Salary is lower than market. 2 Day WFH has returned to 1 Day. 0$ healthcare premium was eliminated. Yearly profit shareholding bonus was eliminated.

Poor management decisions and training opportunities

Not many options for upward growth and very secretive on the transitions within the company

I really hate giving one star and not something I do often. Typical corporate America. Feels like you work for the Royal family or something. Very shady, ignorant, uncaring managers. All about numbers all day everyday and will nag you constantly and its never enough. Whether your below target or above it they will nag you just the same. Things are constantly changing without any kind of planning whatsoever. They tell you one thing then do another. When whatever great, earth shattering, best thing since sliced bread plan they are implementing flops it's never thier fault it's yours! Guess who loses thier job when that happens. You do! They pit sales people against each other fighting for the same work in the same territory. I have never seen this anywhere else. Doesn't sound like a solid plan for keeping people happy. As you may have guessed, do not expect your manager to go to bat for you either. Not sure why anyone would want to work here you will get frustrated quickly, feel anxious and depressed, and hate it especially if you actually care and are doing what you were hired to do. They do not care!
