Pros

Excellent management, training and support. Working in Health and Wellbeing retail can be tough; however, at H&B, there was always support from management and fellow colleagues. Learning about health through the products was really interesting.

Cons

Expected to do a lot for a role with no commission. There was a big focus on reaching targets and KPIs, which felt meaningless for store assistants, as we don't receive commission or reward for achieving the targets. Depending on the store locations, customers can be extremely difficult and expect medical-level attention, but that's just the nature and conditions of the role.

Pros

Honestly, not very many. Staff room in the store that I worked at was nice and my coworkers were cool. Can't say much else.

Cons

Worked to the bone for minimum wage, unrealistic expectations placed on staff, very little in the way of thanks from management.

pays good, learn about a lot of vitamins and supplements

Cons

long hours, not good management everything basically falls apart when manager is on leave. Supervisors do not stand up Infact store colleagues have to do everything

- 25% staff discount and access to other retail and wellness discounts - Supportive management - Thorough training - Opportunities for progression - Access to cpd through recognised apprenticeships - Great team atmosphere - Diversity

Cons

Work-life balance can be difficult. Training is expected on shop floor and that can be quite a challenge to learn the material in that setting.

Pros

25% off H&B merchandise for employees Used to be Full WFH, not sure what it is now Nice Tech stack and opportunity to work with great tools.

Cons

Seems you just need to be mates with technology leadership to get ahead here. Very toxic environment with questionable management. Entire technology/department structure and processes need to be reviewed.
