very few perks, shop staff don't get half the perks that warehouse/ head office staff receive. Unsociable hours. no overtime. Expected to work holidays for no extra pay. Little chance of career progression.

The divide between internal and external, usually better treatment, pay and usually have to be trained by an internal store manager for them to come out with a bigger salary.
