Pros

-The teams at the store level are mostly really good. -The company offers a bunch of random benefits like discounts with other companies. -Employee 10% discount instore and double discount periodically throughout the year.

Cons

-Very high staff turnover - Ive worked here for about a year and weve had about a dozen people come and go. Apparently this is very normal. -Poor pay for an integral management role. -Every other manager Ive spoken to in my store and in a bunch of other stores is on the verge of burning out. Partly from lack of routine and contsantly changing shift patern and partly from the negative pressure put on the management team from HQ and area management. -Very antisocial shifts - impossible to have any kind of work life balance or routine. You will have to work between 6am and midnight so you wont have any standard work time. -Very very bad upper management - my area manager is so bad I couldnt believe it when I first met him. Very arrogant but has no answers. Area management team seem to cause or at least worsen more issues than they solve. -The company tries to portray itself as an employee first employer but when it comes right down to it they really dont care about their staff.

Pros

At Customer assistant level it is a good job and pay is good for the level of work

Cons

As I moved up through Management, had negative experiences with out of touch area managers, lack of consideration for the work done at store level and unrealistic expectations at times
