DO NOT JOIN

Pros

-2 days WFH -Free Lunch on Wednesday

Cons

DO NOT JOIN!!!! You will be given the worst set of territories and in states where the product does not work and be expected to quickly hit quota meanwhile certain people (those who suck up to management) are given the best territories and hit quota from inbound leads. If you’re not in the inner circle and suck up to management you won’t succeed. Also the sales culture celebrates working after hours and on weekends which is toxic.

Pros

Some people do care very much and most teams have a kind culture.

Cons

New leadership over the past two years have thrown the company into chaos. New leaders have been brought in to clean house and form new teams that are already on their second, third, fourth attempts at creating the right org structures. Meanwhile the culture is suffering and good people are looking for work elsewhere because there’s no stability or safety in the company. Clients and partners feel the instability and are distrusting the company more and more. There were good cultural initiatives put into place (mentorship program, continued education) that have been completely rolled back. Leadership is now requiring folks to work in office who were previously hired to work remotely full-time, but the same in-office policies don’t apply to senior leadership. The company is moving backward while its top talent seeks employment elsewhere.

Pros

Restricted Freedom of Speech and Thought: Employees seem to face limitations in expressing their opinions or thinking freely. They may be subjected to unspoken directives to isolate or shun a colleague if management decides to remove that individual. This creates a hostile environment, discourages open communication, and undermines trust among team members. I encountered significant challenges related to racism and sexism during my time at the company. As a person of color, I often felt the need to downplay my skills to fit in, and advancement seemed to favor those who distanced themselves from their identity. Women, especially, were outnumbered and often treated as competitors rather than colleagues, with management fostering a culture of favoritism and bias. The work environment was marred by unprofessional behavior, including trash-talking, dishonest performance evaluations, and a lack of recognition for skill and experience. The company also engaged in questionable practices, such as recording and grading calls from non-customers who would use abusive language, which would be treated as legitimate customer feedback. There is a lack of clear leadership, with confusion and competition among managers, leading to inconsistent decision-making. This lack of accountability results in no one taking genuine responsibility for major decisions, leaving employees in limbo. Employees may feel like they are being used as "guinea pigs," with their skills underutilized or stifled, rather than being given the opportunity to grow or contribute meaningfully. While the office setting itself was beautiful, the leadership and management culture left much to be desired, with favoritism and mediocrity frequently rewarded over genuine talent and hard work.

Cons

The interview, hiring, and onboarding process moves quickly, good for some people or feel rushed for others. While the starting pay is slightly better than some competitors for similar roles, it may not fully reflect the demands of the job. The company does make efforts to maintain a clean and well-stocked breakroom, which is appreciated, though it doesn't compensate for the deeper issues present.

Positioned for purgatory

Pros

There are some amazing people within this company that truly believe in the culture and mission this company used to represent. They are the only reason the customers are still being served in a meaningful way.

Cons

Failed launches. Misrepresented sales. products that break and cost their customers $$ in losses. More concerned about showing profitability than taking care of the customer - stopped pretending to balance the two years ago. Senior leadership is 100% committed to themselves and no one else. The company’s moral compass is completely lost. And lastly, they’ve specialized for years now at reducing staffing levels without properly forecasting how that impacts the customer and the services they require us to perform in order to use a shotty product.
