Pros

You have the opportunity to work on serious litigation and make a meaningful impact for attorneys and their clients, often representing the injured party.

Cons

This company operates under a culture of fear driven by the CEO, with senior management often consisting of the CEO’s close friends and those who simply agree with him. Employees on the ground frequently encounter senior managers who leverage their 'friendship' with the CEO to assert authority rather than providing meaningful guidance and support.

Pros

Interesting clients and daily work. Unique services. Fulfilling industry.

Cons

The leadership structure consists entirely of the CEO's friends and yes-men. Any good leader who has said no or questioned CEOs decisions has been fired, often on the spot with no warning. The culture for all non-leadership employees is one of fear and continued concerns about job security. There's a problem when the company-wide response to an all-hands meeting is 'I wonder who and how many people are getting fired?' The company has continuously covered up problematic treatment of women by one department leader in particular with no repercussions for that person. This is simply accepted by the company as a well-known problem that will never be addressed adequately. Non-leadership employees warn new employees who are young women to watch themselves around him. The CEO has become increasingly erratic, often firing many people at once who are high performing and well respected because of minor disagreements. He yells at and belittles staff from the SDRs to members of management. There is no opportunity for growth unless you are willing to fall 100% in line with the CEO and his group of yes-men disciples.

Pros

Meaningful work Decent benefits with unlimited PTO Opportunity to build relationships with attorneys

Cons

The entire customer success team was let go last week. Women leaders are held to higher standards and paid less. Read previous comments about the head of research. He remains in his position and his influence over the CEO continues to expand. You’ll be micromanaged but the only thing you’ll learn is to google and “pick up the phone”.

Pros

Working directly with attorney clients offered meaningful moments and a chance to genuinely make a difference. Interactions with clients were often the most rewarding part of the job.

Cons

In early January, the entire Customer Success team was abruptly laid off over a group Zoom meeting led by the CEO—no advance warning, no HR present, no professionalism. The reasoning given was a vague "company restructuring," though it’s hard not to draw a connection to the private equity acquisition just a few months prior in October 2024. The CEO fosters a culture where people are viewed as costs, not contributors. Employee morale was never a priority, and it showed. One telling example: employees weren’t even allowed to enjoy a year-end holiday party without clients being brought in to turn it into another sales opportunity. Four hours of celebration for staff was too much to ask. Leadership at the top is dominated by individuals unwilling to challenge the CEO. This has created an echo chamber of compliance, rather than a space for collaboration or innovation. If you're still on the fence, take a look at the CEO’s own Glassdoor review of the company—yes, he wrote one himself. That alone should tell you everything you need to know.
