Upper Management (including CEO) ALWAYS brags about how the revenue keeps growing in each quarter. Ironically, all pay raises are freeze since COVID and management loves to “threaten” the employees by saying the business isn’t going well. You can easily imagine the extra revenue went to the pockets of executives and there is no appreciation to the employees.
