Leadership and management are so oblivious to the toxic work culture that they have created. So many associates have left the IT department and there are zero flags on leaderships radar as to why so many people are leaving the company, they are blaming the people who are leaving. There is zero growth, most hires are directly external when trying to move up within the company (who really have no business being in those positions). Management and leadership (in IT) employees are in such comfortable positions they do not have to worry about lower level employees and they feel that they are above the most minimal work. Not sure how some of these people made it to leadership roles when most minimal leadership characteristics are lacking.
