Equian is a growing company with a well-respected and smart leadership team that fosters an entrepreneurial spirit. To support company growth Equian is in a hiring mode and bringing aboard experienced smart colleagues. Equian is building a culture that provides for a fun and challenging workday whereby members of the company treat each other professionally. Most of the benefits are excellent and reinforce that the leadership team cares about their colleagues. It is an exciting time to be part of Equian.

Cons

While the employee benefits are excellent Equian has decided to make short and long-term disability a voluntary benefit. Life happens and this could prove challenging for an employee with limited resources that decides not to purchase disability. In addition, it would be an excellent addition and support the company culture if colleagues could share in the growth of Equian through an equity offer.

After the recent open enrollment period, associates should have noticed a slight decrease in the cost of short term disability for the 2018 plan year which we consider a small triumph and a foreshadow to eventual enhancements. We are eager to continue to develop a well-rounded, exceptional workplace made possible by our dedicated associates and we anticipate continual, authentic opinions about how we're doing as an employer.
