Pros
* Most managers I worked with had strong work/life balance principles. I never had an issue taking time off from the day to see a doctor/dentist and make that time up later * If remote, was allowed to work anywhere in the USA (not internationally) * PTO is respected, I never had colleagues reach out to me when I was on leave
Cons
* It really depends on what project you're staffed on. I had good experiences but I've heard bad stories from other coworkers who had terrible experiences * Large company so a strong focus on networking to gain project opportunities. If networking is your strong suit then this might be a pro, but some of the networking sessions had me feeling like a LinkedIn AI bot spouting buzzwords to seem impressive. * You're most likely going to end up on a project within the division/team you're hired on. There isn't a straightforward way to search what projects are out there, you mostly have to hear about them through your network
