Booz Allen Hamilton Interview Questions

Extremely straightforward interview process - I submitted an application and received two rounds of interviews. I was rejected on the final round of the process as they found my interests didn't align with the organization.

Very professional, concise, and efficient. Had a phone screen and then a zoom interview with a panel of 3 different individuals. After the panel interview my hiring manager reached out and presented a job offer. BAH recently changed their job postings to include salary ranges.

Very thorough, but very comfortable and efficient. They respected time and quality, as well as experience and potential. It was very well done and I would highly recommend this company to all job seekers.

Asked about previous work history based on resume and reason for change. Interviewers were intrigued about leadership positions within role and tools utilized. Was interviewed by three-panel team with senior leads.

Just a recruiter screen and a behavioral. Very easy and this was for a technical role. I just spoke about my prior experiences and technical skills I have/how I used them before.

1. Phone interview with recruiter. Basic questions on past work experience and knowledge of languages, frameworks/runtimes, databases, and cloud services like AWS. Recruiter was at least knowledgeable enough to know basic technologies and she wrote everything down as far as experience and skill set in order to find teams with open roles at BAH that match your skillset and knowledge. 2. Technical interview with two different teams at BAH in back to back 45 minute sessions. The first interviewer spent a few minutes asking about experience and did coding interview questions that were easy to medium leetcode style questions. The second interview was minaly talking and discussing different aspects of BAH and my experience. 3. Got an email the following the day saying the interviews went well and they wanted to move forward so we setup another meeting and that was when I was given an offer. We discussed BAH benefits, position, and salary. I have not decided on whether I will accept as I am interviewing for other places.

One of the interviewers didn't even show up and the other interviewer was gruff, like he didn't really want to be there or that his time was being wasted having to give an interview.

It seems the best way to get your foot in the door is to know someone who works there and have them refer you. Once referred, you will get a call from a recruiter, they will set you up with an interview, and if your interview goes well they will send you an offer.

The interview process was three stages really, the 'pre-interview', the 'technical interview' and then the 'mission-fit interview'. The technical interview is by hard the hardest, where you're asked specific theory based questions that you may not have thought of in a while in your day to day job. The mission fit interview is designed so that you're able to be hired into a specific work center. It's a bit of a tedious process.

The application process for this position took longer in regard to submitting resume/work experience as you must use their system to input information. You can input data from a resume, but it’s not always exact so you need to check everything. A quick first call was followed by a group interview which I enjoyed. I felt more like we were having a conversation about the role and my experience instead of being sized up.
