Pros

- Office is close to town hall train station

Cons

- POOR pay - Clique of senior been there for a while - just there to climb and peel new titles onto there LinkedIn - Micromanaging is ever so prevalent - Try to mask poor pay and micro management with 'team dinners' and each others houses and you're looked down upon if you disagree to host.

Pros

Beca is moving in an interesting trajectory. A number of big projects under the belt and allowing for more dynamic changes and risk appetite mean it's a good environment to gain experience if you're working in the right teams. People often talk about the culture of the company as well, which I can't speak to from an outsider perspective (I haven't worked anywhere else), but there seems to be a collective drive from employees and support from the company to make the work we do satisfying, and the people who do the work feel cared for.

Cons

Secondment roles have often felt neglected, and wages haven't typically been competitive (hopefully this will change as the business finds a more sustainable financial position). One big con often expressed by people in secondment roles or working long planned hours, is that overtime or TOIL is difficult to arrange, so the company gets paid, but you aren't rewarded for it.
