Pros

Good growth trajectory. Firm invests in a lot of training at all levels. Great benefits. Good base comp/great bonuses. Lunch & dinner stipend during spring & fall busy seasons. Partners/management will listen if you speak up about your needs.

Cons

High hours during busy season. Partners are currently bringing in a ton of work which adds to everyone's already busy schedule. The NYC office needs a major update, feels like you're stepping into the early 2000s. People don't want to work in an old office - especially with the push to get everyone back in person.

Pros

The firm stands out as an exceptional place to launch one's career. Prioritize strong professional development, while investing in training programs. Associates benefit from mentorship opportunities and have access to employer-sponsored Master’s or MBA courses for some employees. Compensation package includes attractive pay and benefits, such as complimentary dinners and Uber rides during the demanding busy season. Family-like atmosphere among the junior levels.

Cons

Management tends to be overly controlling. Communication breakdown often occurs where one manager does not know what the other manager in the same department is doing. The quality of management varies significantly. Some managers are approachable and supportive while others play favorites providing insufficient actionable support. Unequal enforcement of workplace rules regarding attendance and breaks is common that plays a significant damage on team's morale and productivity.

Pros

The office is near the metro station. We have a gym in the building; it has also shower room. Coffee machine in the office. Good interior. Once a week wfh.

Cons

Toxic higher management. We have no good system even though they are already in the business for 6 years. Politics is worst! Incompetent HR and Finance. No mentoring and training. The Company just love doing podcast.

Pros

The team culture is incredibly supportive and collaborative. Everyone is willing to help, and there’s a strong sense of working toward shared success. There are excellent opportunities for professional growth, including annual national trainings and employer-sponsored Master’s and MBA programs. Leadership genuinely cares about your development, and I’ve always felt respected and encouraged to take on new challenges.

Cons

The main downsides are a lower 401(k) match compared to some other firms and working 50–60 hours during busy season—but that’s fairly typical in public accounting.
