Technical Manager / Project Leader / Principal Engineer – Electronic Materials

The appointee will be responsible for incubating and developing novel materials and scalable processes for electronic applications. Core duties include:

Develop Core Technologies: Innovate and develop materials for electronic applications.
Project Management: Oversee project incubation, proposal writing, and preparing reports and presentations.
Project Implementation: Lead project execution to meet milestones and deliverables.
Technology Transfer and Commercialization: Facilitate the commercialization of developed technologies.
Client and Network Building: Develop and manage client accounts, expand collaboration networks, and stay informed about market trends.
Collaboration: Work closely with project sponsors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Team Leadership: Lead and develop a highly competent and expert team.
Intellectual Property Management: Handle intellectual property applications and management for various projects.
Additional Duties: Perform ad hoc tasks and other duties as required by the supervisor.

Educational Background: MPhil and/or PhD in Material Science, Polymer Science, Chemistry, or relevant disciplines.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of R&D and supervisory experience in the development of electronic materials, such as packaging materials, functional coating materials, and formulations of electronic paste or adhesives.
- Proven track record in the commercialization of R&D results.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong independent working ability with solid leadership skills to effectively lead a research team.
- Creative and critical thinking, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Good interpersonal, negotiation, and coordination skills.
- Experience with the successful application and completion of ITF projects is a plus.
- Excellent report writing and presentation skills, along with proficiency in literature and patent searches.
Language Proficiency:
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
- Proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage.

We offer 5-day work, attractive remuneration package to the successful candidates. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
