JOB DESCRIPTION
ExodusPoint is seeking a highly motivated Electronic Trader to join our Execution Services team in Hong Kong. Prospective candidates should possess a strong background in electronic trading in at least one asset class as well as a good understanding of market microstructure. The successful candidate must be able to understand complex trading scenarios, data rules and logic, manage numerous simultaneous projects, and be an active contributor to strategic and technical discussions.

The position will offer you exposure to numerous facets of a multi-manager hedge fund, providing you with a unique understanding of how every branch works together.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor live trading processes and risk, managing impact, and resolution of market outages or exceptions.
- Liaise with Trading, Research, and Technology teams to ensure continuous development and improvement of systematic trading performance and platform capabilities, managing project design, and delivery across firmwide stakeholders.
- Understanding trading behavior changes required in response to market structure changes and market events.
- Maintain and contribute to various trading data analytics and reporting.
- Liaising with Technology teams to ensure that requirements are understood, and that functional and design proposals are fit for purpose.
- Liaising with Execution Research to ensure continuous monitoring of trading performance as well as maintaining ongoing dialogues with each counterparty.
- Understanding business priorities and determining solutions in partnership with the internal teams as well as external counterparties.
Qualifications:
- ~2-4 years of experience in electronic trading, preferably with systematic trading exposure.
- Good understanding of how execution algorithms are built, behave, and optimized.
- Knowledge of APAC market microstructure, as well as the regulatory and compliance landscape.
- Strong quantitative skillset with experience in data analysis and programming (Python, SQL preferred). Growth mindset with self-starter approach to expanding knowledge and learning new tools to identify and solve problems.
- Proven ability to maintain accuracy and diligence in fast-paced, high-pressure situations.
- Strong understanding of the FIX protocol is helpful.
- Ability to articulate complex concepts and have the ability to disseminate complex information clearly.
- Ability to work independently and to drive projects to completion, while proactively ensuring project teams and relevant stakeholders are kept up to date and expectations are properly managed.
- Effective time management, relationship management, negotiation, and prioritization skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Pay: $1,170,000.00 - $1,560,000.00 per year
