      Application

I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Yelp (San Francisco, CA)

      Interview

I heard about this position from a career fair and was put in touch with a recruiter in the San Fran office. There was some miscommunication regarding times of the interviews during the first phase due to time zone issues but other than that everyone was very nice. The first interview was extremely short, about 10 minutes with a sales manager. Be prepared based on the information provided in the emails prior to the interviews. The second and final interview was via Skype and was with 3 sales managers -- I was surprised that this was the last interview, and that might be my biggest issue with the process. Overall, the people seemed relatively friendly. I did not get a peek into the office...so I had no idea what the culture was really like, making it difficult to make a decision.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Yelp (San Francisco, CA) in May 2014

      Interview

I literally just finished my Skype interview like 10 minutes ago. I had applied online for the New Grad Sales position. After a couple days I was contacted by the recruiter to discuss my background a bit more as well as the position. I then had a phone interview with an Account Manager from the Phoenix, AZ office where we discussed the interviewer's background as well as mine. Then she asked me: 1. What is the product we are selling? 2. Why sales? (I forgot the others) Just finished my Skype interview where I chatted with 3 different Account Managers in the SF office. The first one went well. They will ask you to sell them a Yelp ad package, but they might not be interested. Just ask questions and stay friendly. Sometimes the interviewer didn't seem like he wanted to be there and acted uninterested. Don't let that intimidate you...they could be your future bosses. Stay positive and upbeat.
