I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Yelp in May 2019
Interview
The interview process was a very well oiled machine. Clearly interviewers knew what they wanted out of discussions, and they provided good opportunities for the interviewee to showcase skills. The in person interview was great and provided the opportunity to view the space you would be working in.

Question 1
What is your favorite food? Convince me to want it too.
I applied online. I interviewed at Yelp (Atlanta, GA) in Apr 2026
Interview
Interview was smooth. I was given good information about pay, culture, and what is expected of an inside sales representative on typical day. I was also allowed to ask question.
Everyone was super nice and very clearly proud of Yelp culture. The communication was quick and clear on expectations of the interview and onboarding process. Both the recruiter and the hiring managers were very insightful about the business and offered great feedback to my mock call.

Question 1
They had me run through a mock sales call twice with feedback in between.
It was okay, the salary is quite low and does not match the market for similar roles. I think that the actual interview is not hard, but it is hard to stay motivated knowing the salary number.
