I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Yelp (Scottsdale, AZ) in Dec 2013
Interview
Take note that this is a training program, you won't be an account executive right away. The more you sell the faster you grow and your pay will increase. The set up is very similar to that of a call center or help desk. The first interview is easy, and the second in person interview requires that you apply the feedback you are given right away.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Yelp (Austin, TX) in May 2026
Interview
The interview process was pleasant from start to finish. It included a recruiter phone screen, a video call with the sales manager, a role play exercise, and the opportunity to implement the manager’s feedback.

Question 1
One question they asked during my interview was what specifically about the role made me feel it was a strong fit for my background and experience.
The interview process with Yelp was a very organized experience. From the first email after I put in my application, to the offer extension call, I always felt well informed and included.
It was a one time interview over video call with a pre call before. One on one with a training manager. Pretty simple not too hard at all. Lasted 30 minutes with questions and role plays.
